Welders: Build A Chopper!

You want a challenge? Build a chopper. Start with building a frame, and then make sure you have all the mounts set where you want them, and then build your chopper piece by piece. The frame is the hardest part top gun. No, not in terms of fabrication. You can get as complicated as you like with fenders and gas tanks. But the motorcycle frame is the most important part because any faults will spell disaster on the road. You can afford a little mistake on a fender or gas tank without breaking bones or ending up in a casket. But if you screw up the frame, a bad weld, or it's not straight for example, you or a potential customer (bike builder) will pay the price. If you have good welding skills, and a frame jig, you are set. Build a chopper and you'll have a welding project that will be a lot of fun, and once you build your own bike you'll be the envy of all your buddies. The chopper above was built on a budget and the builder won a contest with it, and against tough compeition. Check it out here.
