Parameters of mig welding

I need help of an experience welder. Our project is to make a cylinder, on a base plate, with beads of mig welding. But we could not do the job. beads are not like we see on internet or in industries. we are using carbon dioxide gas for shielding. while welding, material scatters on base plate. and i need another help too.to make a cylinder radius should be constant but with manual (hand) we can not achieve this. so if anyone has some idea how to automate this to get a constant radius cylinder please tell me.
