You know, Paul.... I read your idea about building a dune buggy and it brought back memories. 40 years ago I did the same thing as a first year engineering student. My dune buggy project got an A while my math, english and other classes suffered. I eventually dropped out of college and spent a life time as a welder / fabricator in the heavy industrial construction world. I often wonder how my carreer would have been if I would have worked on a simple project like carving a bar os soap like the rest of my engineering class did..... Welders / fabricators are a dime a dozen while a project manager is worth his weight in gold. Hit the books and one day you can buy that dune buggy rather than build it.......
