You say "only 185,00" but that number is for me a great amount. My device costs approx 5 dollars.

Get yourself a good quality hood, i have the new 3m speedglas hood that is compared to the miller painted hoods and it works great and only 185.00. You will never have to buy a new hood again, never get flash burn, and you will be able to see no problem. Good investment for every welder.
