Home Made Rod Roller

Home Made Rod Roller

This is my home made rod roller: Last Christmas I was welding up some outdoor display items for my son and had the need to roll some ¼" rod to various diameters. Using an old drill press vice and other scrap material I had in the shop I came up with a very good rod roller and thought I would share it with others. If anyone has any improvements I am always open for suggestions. Enjoy! Roll on.

by: Bill Ulch

Can you send me a list of the parts you used? I can't afford to buy a new one of these, and would like to try to put one together. Thanks

A very good entrepreneural achievement.Very much useful in all in-door as well as field application for hidden close corners.

Thanks just what I am looking for to do my small home projects. Attached a project requiring rings to be made that was done by bending round bar around cart wheel and car break disk. Worked well but your idea will make it a walk in the park.

I have done something similar in order to produce a ring of aluminum tube diameter 1.25m. Yours is very well done, congratulations. I suggest you to publish it and its development on instructables.com
