Arched Footbridge Construction

I built this footbridge to cross a stream on my property to allow my sheep and horses to get to a pasture at the back of my acreage.

The main structure of this arched footbridge is 3 arched pieces of 3X3 square 6061-T6 tube with addition tubing to provide support for the plank decking as well as diagonal bracing as required.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am interested in making such a footbridge approximately 16 feet wide, 24 feet long. Will the drawing you used suit me.

Kind regards
Dennis

Nice Job

As someone who has been welding aluminum for 20 years I just want you to know I can appreciate the work and thought that went into that.

The way you built it makes it amazingly strong. The end supports would give out before the structure would fail.
