Hore Head Project

Hore Head Project

Here is a pic of my horsey head project. I constructed the life-size horse head from 3/16 mild plate steel, 1" x 1" square mild steel tubing and schedule 40 metal pipe. The horse's hair is made from 16 gauge galvanized steel electric fence wire.

The individual strands are temporarily separated and zip-tied for transportation purposes to it's final destination.

The project took 52 hands on hours, 2 10 -lb. spools of .035 solid welding wire, 125 cubic ft of 75-25, numerous sanding discs and a lot of elbow grease. I used just under 2 miles of 16 gauge steel electric fence wire.

Thanks for all of your tips and tricks. I love your website! And thanks for all of your help!
